Zara’s Special Place for Children is dedicated to educating and empowering children. With a mission to nurture young minds and foster creativity, the organization provides transformative learning experiences that build confidence and equip children with the tools to become future leaders and change-makers.
Our Approach
We offer a holistic approach to empowering children and families in Waterloo, Iowa, through education, mentorship, and community support. Our initiatives, including The Bread of Life Christian Counseling Center, The Love Luxe Catering and Staging, Essential Needs Giveaway, No Empty Hearth’s Stockings Giveaway and Queen Bee Outreach Ministry, aim to create opportunities for children to thrive, dream big, and build a brighter future.
Our Accomplishments
We have accomplished many important milestones in our mission to support children and families in the community. Including expanding our services and increasing accessibility to mental health resources through The Bread of Life Christian Counseling Center.
